Child Care
What an exciting February we have had while keeping “Healthy Living” our focus. It was our theme of the month. We have continued focusing on healthy habits we have started this New Year. The weather will be breaking soon which means time to finally get outside, breathe a little fresh air, climb on the monkey bars, and get all of those winter wiggles out of our system – HOW FUN!
In addition to all of the wonderful activities we offer daily to our participants, such as arts and crafts, homework center and science and nature; during our Lancaster February Fun Club at William Street we jazzed things up by inviting the Buffalo Science Museum, Buffalo Zoo, Zippity the Clown and creating some magic with, “It’s Magic of Course”.
We are here to help, serve, and provide to Lancaster and our surrounding communities! Please do not hesitate to take advantage of all of our wonderful child care programs that we have offered here at the Lancaster YMCA.
Vacation Fun Club will be held:
William Street School
February 15 - 19
Alden Intermediate
February 16 - 19
Lancaster’s fun club participants can look forward to visits from the Buffalo Zoo & the Science Museum.

Support the YMCA Through the Strong Kids Campaign
We are still working to reach our $37,500 go al for the 2010 Strong Kids Campaign!
The funds raised during the three-month campaign helps families in Lancaster and the surrounding communities attend programs such as camp, before and after school child care, and youth sports even though their financial situations may not allow it.
If you would like to contribute to the campaign, please contact the Lancaster Branch at 684-2395.
