Responsibilies include reviewing, compiling and processing time sheets; maintaining payroll files; preparing bi-weekly, monthly and annual payroll reports; maintains time off schedules; maintaining I-9 files and working papers; managing staff shirt inventory; coordinating staff training calendars; providing clerical assistance to HR dept; and other duties as assigned.

Requirments include: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Personnel Administration or related field or equivalent work experience;  minimum of three years experience in full payroll processing; working knowledge of Federal and State regulations regarding payroll and benefit plans; working knowledge of Windows Office (Word/Excel) and be able to learn various YMCA software applications; working knowledge of ADP Payroll processing is preferred.  The incumbent has access to employee salary information therefore this position requires an extremely high level of confidentiality.

Incumbent will conduct effective and fun exercise classes; ensure participant retention and growth; record attendance; maintain necessary certifications; ensure a safe program environment, etc. Background in fitness, sports and/or recreational activities or related area and valid CPR certification required.
