Race Information
Start:
9:00 a.m. SHARP at Delaware Avenue and Shoreham Parkway

Race Course: The YMCA Turkey Trot is an 8K (4.97 mile) foot race which begins at Delaware Avenue and Shoreham Parkway. The race course follows Delaware Avenue into downtown Buffalo. The route proceeds around Niagara Square to Church Street and then onto Franklin Street, where runners will cross the finish line in front of the Buffalo Convention Center.

Packet Pickup: Runners may pick up packets at the Delaware YMCA from Monday, November 24 - Wednesday, November 26 between 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Expo: Look for special Turkey Trot discounts. Runner's Roost will sponsor this year's running expo at the Delaware YMCA from Monday, November 24 - Wednesday, November 26.

Champion Chip: Again this year, each entrant will be wearing a unique timing device called the Champion Chip. You will pick up a computer chip with your race packet that corresponds to your race number.  As you start and finish, your time will be recorded instantly.  Results will be posted during the post race party at the Convention Center.

This simple system will greatly alter your finish line experience! You will cross the finish line, return your chip and head for the post race celebration. All chips should be removed by a finish line volunteer.  Any unreturned chips will be charged to the entrant at a cost of $30.
