Thanksgiving Morning 9:00 a.m.
Thursday, November 27, 2008

Hosted by the YMCA Buffalo Niagara
Delaware Family Branch

In 2007, the race welcomed 8,720 participants. Taking first place for the men was Kyle Pawlaczyk with a time of 24:49 while Aileen Hoak with a time of 28:40, took first place for the women.

One of Western New York’s most treasured events, the YMCA Turkey Trot brings together more than 8,000 runners of all ages and levels every Thanksgiving morning for a holiday celebration like no other!

Established in 1896, this race will mark its 113th start on Thanksgiving morning, making it the oldest continually running footrace in North America (even older than the Boston Marathon)!

Immediately followed by a post-race celebration and awards ceremony that plays host to more than 10,000 runners, spectators and volunteers, this is surely an event not to be missed!

Registration information will be mailed out in early September.  Registration forms will also be available at all local YMCA branches and Wegmans Stores.
